Well first off I wanted to thank all of you O ROAD fans for all of your support. It was a good run but unfortunately our day has ended. But on the bright side there will be new and interesting projects ahead. Right now I'm shooting a comedy called BRIDE WARS with Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson in Boston. While setting up plans to do a small acoustic tour in the midwest and south later this summer. More info on that to come. But, if you want, check out My Album. Bad news, tubers. This has been telegraphed around the Industry for a while, but just in case there was any doubt: October Road is all but done.

In addition to trade reports that the executive producers would be running David E. Kelley's new series Life on Mars, I can report this morning that one of the main castmembers (think big) is taking meetings around town. Said castmember is now available for new work, and (s)he is telling the execs with whom (s)he's meeting that Road is dead.

The official verdict will be handed down tomorrow when ABC announces its pickups and cancellations for the 2008-09 season.
